WITT, Elizabeth “Ellen” age 95, of Waynesville, passed away Sun. Aug. 7, 2016 at Quaker Heights Care Community. Ellen was a member of the Muskingum Chapter order of Eastern Star. She greatly enjoyed cooking, singing, playing guitar, and square dancing.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arless “Tobe” Lester Witt; her parents Clinton and Lillian Worley; five brothers William, Melvin, Clyde, Clinton Jr., and Jack Worley; and two sisters Edna Smith and Frances Rocholt. She is survived by her son Claude “Art” (Lynn) Harden; one daughter Elizabeth “Betty” (Don) Beers; three stepsons Darrel (Pam) Witt, Richard Witt, and Terry Witt; six grandchildren Chris (Evelyn) Botts, Angela Botts, Jamie Harden, Laura Morales, Toni Borrios, and Sandra Denham; numerous great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren; and two sisters Delores Brown and Joyce Gray.

Funeral service at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home. Pastor Terry Carlisle will be officiating. Burial in Chattanooga National Cemetery in TN.
