Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty J. Ivey, 85, of North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest August 8, 2016, will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Victory Baptist Church. Rev. Chris Brown officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Ivey was a native of Birmingham, Alabama, having made the North Augusta area her home for the past 63 years. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church, the Auditorium Sunday School Class and a retired Bookkeeper with Sanford, Corbitt and Bruker Insurance Agency. Mrs. Ivey was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Ivey and a daughter, Gail Perry.
Survivors include five daughters and sons-in-law, eleven grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Lowell Holden, Jr., Brad Carpenter, Sterlin Carpenter, Jaime McCord, Jason McCord and Dewayne Tager .
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Tuesday evening from 6 until 8. The family will be at the residence of Teresa and Phil Cohen, 39 Sunset Circle, North Augusta, SC.
