Judith A. Brink of South Abington Twp. died unexpectedly Thursday, July 14, at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. She was the widow of James Brink, who died Nov. 21, 2005.

Born July 6, 1938, in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Evelyn Oakley James. She was educated in Scranton schools.

Surviving are daughters, Linda Nealon and husband, Thomas, Clarks Summit; Susan Gilroy and husband, Joseph, Scranton; stepson, John Brink and wife, Donna, Scranton; grandchildren, Tara, Seamus and Emmet Nealon, Emma, Bobby and Kelsey Gilroy, Brian and Eric Brink, and Jayme Price; sister, Marlene "Bluey" Gallagher, Scranton; beloved companion, Charles Galli, Scranton; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by an aunt, Virginia Oakley; sister, Marilyn "Pinky" Coyne; stepson, Edward Brink; and stepdaughter, Barbara Brink.

A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Snows Parish, 301 State St., Clarks Summit. Interment in Cathedral Cemetery will be private.
