"Theodore Ketler.
Theodore Ketler, for 50 years a resident of this city, and one of its best known residents, died during Monday night, at the hospital, where he had been for the past three weeks. He was 70 years of age and was for many years in mercantile business here, until he retired some years ago. He had suffered from a complication of diseases for the past year.
Mr. Ketler was born in Chester county, this state, and was a son of Thomas Ketler, a pioneer citizen of this locality. Mr. Ketler was a member of the First Methodist church and was a man of the highest integrity, whose death is considered a blow to this community.
He is survived by his wire, Mrs. Martha Alexander Kettler. He also leaves three brothers and two sisters; Hiram and William Ketler of this county, Audley Ketler of Alliance, O., Mrs. Martha Garvin of Arizona, and Mrs. Ella Wilbur of Michigan.
A man of great geniality, Mr. Ketler was widely acquainted and all who knew him will regret his demise. Funeral services Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Ketler home, No. 42 Court street, and interment at Oak Park."
