Murray, Utah-Jennifer Evans, 46, of Salt Lake City, Utah passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Glendale, California on June 1, 1970 to Kent and Rosemary Evans. She spent her earliest years in Pleasanton, California and then grew up in Holladay, Utah. She graduated from Olympus High School and attended the University of Utah. Jennifer was always an optimistic bright light to all who knew her and took pride in working at ADP for fifteen years. She showed great love for all her friends and family. Animals always had a special place in her heart as did gardening and art projects.
Jennifer is survived by her parents, her brother David K. Evans, her sister Catherine Evans Little, her nieces Taylor and Halle Evans, Tristynn Close and her nephews Chase and Colin Little, and boyfriend Rodney Johnson. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joel P. Jensen (Maurine) and Dr. and Mrs. Carvel Evans (Leone). Jennifer's wonderful spirit and life will be celebrated at a funeral on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the Little Cottonwood 1st Ward Chapel on 6350 Rodeo Lane, Murray, Utah 84121. There will be a gathering from 9:00-10:30AM, and the funeral at 11:00AM. The burial will be at the Salt Lake City Cemetery following the funeral.
