Hand in hand again. They held hands every chance they could. She said, "You grow in the same direction holding hands." She passed away peacefully, disease free at home. Married to Keith B. Dimick in 1952, sealed in the Temple in 1963. She loved being L.D.S. and felt blessed with the friendships it built.
Survived by Craig, Patti, Nan, Cory, Robbie and nine grand's and a bunch of great's. She worked for Skaggs Alpha Beta offices. She read at least 2 novels a month for 55 years. She loved camping, carousel horses, quilts (I delivered well over 100 blankets that her and Ruby Daybell made to veteran orgs. and shelters). She loved word finds and Troll Dolls. She played Rummykub with her bff's weekly for 18 years. She enjoyed my play on word…. If I may a final tribute.
"The First Tear"
Like the calving of a mighty ice flow, a single drop of moisture under contract from the soul, no bigger than a dew drop with strength to first clear passage, free are the rest to simply follow…
A special thanks to the priesthood. She loved all you guys and I hope she enhanced your lives half as much as you did her's. "Classy young men….." Also, Encompass (hospice) Kelly, Emma, Stacy and Anne. "You are 21st century American Angels."
Mom wanted no mourner's. If you come visit she invites you to hold hands with a loved one. She believed love steps into fresh air hand in hand. "Dad's hand is waiting, it's okay to go", I said. "I'm holding the hand of the Lord right now", she replied and passed shortly after. Interment will take place at Valley View Memorial Park. The marker lovingly provided by Patti and Cory.
