Chris Lee Bell, the son of Glenn and Helen (Spath) Bell, was born at Grand Island, Nebraska, on August 11, 1966, and passed away at Phillips, Nebraska, on August 31, 1986, at the age of 20 years and 20 days.
He grew up I the Giltner area where he attended school and graduated with the class of 1984. He had been employed various places, and at the time of his death, was farming for his father. His hobbies were hunting and fishing and working with motors.
Chris was a member of the Giltner United Methodist Church.
Those who remain to cherish his memory are his parents, Glenn and Helen Bell of Giltner; one brother Pat of Giltner; three sisters, Janet Golon of Lincoln, Julie Olson of Grand Island and Glenda Hawthorne of Giltner; his grandmother, Chloe Bell and many other relatives and close friends.
