Obituary of Charlotte Fox

WAYLAND- Charlotte M. Fox, 81, of 54 Southview Heights, passed away July 14, 2016 at the Livingston County Center For Nursing & Rehabilitation in Mt Morris.
Charlotte was born April 13, 1935 in Hornell to Henry and Neola Tuttle. She was a graduate of Arkport Central School. Charlotte was a member of Steuben County 8 and 40 Salon 286, a member of the Auxiliary Club in Wayland, and she enjoyed participating in the Glee Club at the nursing home where she was known as The Foxy Lady. Charlotte loved animals and was a collector of many farm animals. She loved to attend Penny Socials, and looked forward to playing cards every morning with her friend Lorraine Dill.
Most of all she enjoyed lasagna diners with her family when they were prepared by Mary Morsch and David Croston, and her visits with Michael Croston.
Charlotte was predeceased by her parents Henry and Neola Tuttle, her husband John Fox, brother Robert Tuttle, sister-in-laws, Marlene Cy, Carmen Brokaw and a brother-in law Darwin Torrence.
She is survived by her son Richard (Nicole) Fox of Dansville her grandson Aloysius Fox of Dansville, her siblings Jeanne (Harold) Westbrook of Alton, Vt., Barbara Torrence of North Carolina, Mary Lou Belles of Corning, and Richard (Carolynn) Tuttle of Washington. A brother in law George (Waneta) Fox of Dansville, sisters-in laws Sandy Fox of Dansville and Bernadette (Jim) Kridler of Oklahoma, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Charlotte’s family and friends may call from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St, Wayland.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home. , with Rev Oscola Wharton officiating. Internment will be immediately following in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Wayland.
