Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church for Lisa M Case, 14-year-old daughter of James and Janie (Ackerman) Case, who died Sunday from injuries received in a car-pedestrian accident on Island Lake Road, Collegeville Townshiip, Stearns County.
The Rev. Thomas Gillespie will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Daniel Funeral Home in St. Joseph. St. Joseph Senior Citizens and the Council of Catholic Women will pray at 4 p.m. today at the funeral home followed by parish prayers at 7.
Lisa Case was born Aug. 12, 1979, in St. Cloud and attended Clearview, Westwood and Discovery Elementary Schools in St. Cloud. She recently completed the eighth grade at North Junior High School, St. Cloud, and was active in orchestra, softball, volleyball and basketball. She was a member of the "Just for Kix" dance group.
Survivors include her parents; brother, Todd, at home; grandparents, Roger and June Case, Houston, Texas; Gilbert and Albina Ackerman, Sauk Rapids; and great-grandmothers, Edith Zencius, Sartell; and Katherine Ackerman, Foley.
Pallbearers will be uncles, David and Steve Case, Raymond Otto, Donald Braun, Phil Slinden and James Truenow.
