Eunice Irene Hartley, 79 of Crab Orchard, went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 14, 2008.
Born February 28, 1929, she was the daughter of the late George and Laura Alice Shrewsbury.
Eunice enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening. She was a homemaker and attended the Cross Point Church of God. She was a lifelong child of God and shared her Christian love with all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Eunice is preceded in death by Mabel Meadows, Loma Thompson, Blakie Bean, Esther Taylor, Bernard Shrewsbury, Covie Shrewsbury, Thelma Goans and Gaylord Shrewsbury.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Benny Hartley of Crab Orchard; two daughters Diane Persinger and husband Dean of Crab Orchard, Brenda Campbell and husband Charles of Beckley; grandchildren Lisa Meadows and husband Steve of Glen Morgan, Eddie Persinger and husband Melissa of Crab Orchard, Eric Campbell of Beckley, Melissa Campbell of Beckley, Angel Bradshaw of Raleigh, NC; great-grandchildren Brianna Persinger, Caleb Persinger, MaKayla Persinger all of Crab Orchard, Evan Bradshaw, MaKayla Bradshaw and Elijah Bradshaw all of Raleigh, NC.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Vondie Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
Friends may gather with the family Monday from 6 � 8 PM at the funeral home.
