RINEHART – At the state insane asylum hospital, Tuesday, November 27, 1906, G. W. Rinehart, aged 76.

He was a native of Iowa. The remains will be sent to Condon for interment.

OLD PIONEER GONE

Geo. W. Reinhart was born in Illinois October 8, 1830 and died of a paralytic stroke at Salem November 27, 1906. In 1845 he moved to Iowa and was united in marriage with Martha Davis in 1851. The next year he crossed the planes with an ox team and settled in Lane County, Oregon. In 1886 he moved to Gilliam county and engaged in the stock business and later became a member of the Mercantile firm of Hallstead & Rinehart. Deceased leaves a wife and the following children to mourn his death: W. M. Rinehart of Portland; D. M. and G. L. Rinehart of Condon; C. H. Rinehart of Boise, Idaho; Mrs. George Taylor of Olex and Mrs. Hebert Halsted of Los Angeles, California. The funeral took place at the Congregational church yesterday, Rev. Curran officiating.
