Son of Adolph Quey who resided in Manchester, Connecticut.

Mario served as a Chief Gunner's Mate, U.S. Navy during World War II.

He resided in Hartford County, Connecticut prior to the war.

Mario was stationed at the U.S. Naval Ammunition Depot in Cavite, Philippine Islands during the war.

Mario was "Killed In Action" during the war.

He was awarded the Purple Heart.

The date of his death is the same day that the surrender of U.S. Military forces occurred in Corregidor.
