Cousin of Ray G. Williams, Springfield, Illinois, son of George A. Williams and Bertha.

Former wife of Jean Theodore Ross; they were divorced by 21 June 1937, when Jean married Eleanor E. Snoweden. Jean was the son of Albert G. and Monta M. May Blessing Ross of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. Albert and Monta married in Bartholomew, Indiana, 7 June 1904. Al was the son of Tabitha Stienbarger. Eleanor was the daughter of Charles W. Snowden and Lulu W. Miller.

Naomi attended Northwestern University and was a senior during 1928, just prior to her marriage to Jean Theodore.
