Emily Faust, 88, of Vancouver, Washington, passed away on July 11, 2015. She was born on July 21, 1926 in Westbrook, Maine. She married Bill Faust (who preceded her in death - 1981) in Jan 1951 and moved to Longmont. Emily remained in Longmont until January of 2012 when she moved to Vancouver Washington to be closer to her daughter. Emily was first and foremost a loving wife and wonderful mother. She was also actively involved in the community with such things as the Boy Scouts, Extension Service and 4-H. In 1979, Emily and Bill went to work at La Cocina restaurant where she continued to work until they closed the restaurant. Emily moved to Vancouver, Washington in January of 2012 to be close to her daughter. Emily is survived by sons Bill and Russ Faust, both from Montana, daughter Kristi and her husband Kip Yasumiishi from Washington State, as well as four grandchildren, Kate and Josh Faust, and Kyle and Niki Yasumiishi, and two great grandchildren, Kincaid and Piper. Emily was always there with a smile on her face and laughter for all. We will truly miss her.
