Mrs. Leo Trice Burns, age 87, of Chapel Hill, TN, formerly of College Grove, TN died Friday, August 5, 2016. She was a native of Williamson County, TN, and a daughter of the late Wallace Edgar and Nellie Blythe Andrews Crafton. Mrs. Leo was retired from Durango Boot Company and CPS Industry and was a member of the Harpeth Lick Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Trice, second husband, William G. Burns and her brother, Charles Crafton.
Mrs. Burns is survived by her children; Mike (Mary) Trice of Hillsboro, TN, Judy (Darrel) Luna of Chapel Hill, TN, Carol (Ricky) Bruce of Franklin, TN, Charlene Trice (Melvin Markham) of Thompson Station, TN, Stan (Mary) Trice of College Grove, TN; brother, Bobby (Betty Ann) Crafton of Eagleville, TN; sisters, Ann (Aaron) Reed of Eagleville, TN, Sue Speakman of Eagleville, TN, and Faye Adair of Franklin, TN; 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and her caretaker, Louise Johnson.
Visitation with the family will be from 4 PM until 8 PM on Monday, August 8, 2016 at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill, TN. Funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home at 1 PM on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 with Brother Larry Guinn officiating. Interment will follow in Triune Cemetery in Triune, TN.
Memorial Donations may be made to Avalon Hospice or Harpeth Lick Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
