Fred E. Lamb, age 86, of Covington, PA, died Monday, December 15, 2008 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Fred was born December 9, 1922 in Masten, PA a son of the late Floyd and Emma Walker Lamb. He was married for 59 years to the late Emily Jean (Eberenz) Lamb. Fred was a member of Covington Church of Christ (Disciples), Army Air Core Veteran serving during WWII. He was past commander of Mansfield VFW and a member of the F&AM in Mansfield, PA. Fred was a very talented musician and played the violin, guitar, piano, saxophone, clarinet and accordion all by ear. Fred was preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Jean Lamb in 1992; sister Ethel Lamb and his wife Emily Jean Lamb in 2005. Burial to take place in Gray Cemetery in Covington, PA.
