Clarke's beautiful white marble obelisk, can be seen from almost any where on the Westwood Gardens grounds, the north west corner of this cemetery is now the Dickinson plot, the Family Homestead and burying grounds listed on Fayetteville-Zebulon Road (now known as 978 Rover-Zetella Road where the Vulcan Material Company's Griffin Quarry is now located), Williamson, Spalding County, Georgia (8 miles from Griffin, Georgia) The several adults and children of this family resting there were relocated when this company purchased the homestead, according to Westwood records. Family tradition and census records state they came to Pike (later Spalding) County from Hancock County around 1830. His father was the Joel Putnam Dickinson who was born 1744 in North Carolina and died in 1820 in Hancock County, Georgia and his mother was Sarah Middleton, courtesy of Cindy Nicholls (47677015) and the husband of Miss Mary Elizabeth Askew,
