BLUFF CREEK – Janetta Bessie, daughter of J. B. and Mary J. Dresslar, was born April 6th, 1883 and departed this life November 22, 1909, aged 25 years, 7 months and 16 days. She was united in marriage to Woodberry Mullinix, November 25th, 1902 and to them was born one child a daughter, Florence Alta. In 1900 Bessie united with Salem M. E. church and retained her membership until death. Although a sufferer through life she was always cheerful and patient and during her last hours was thoughtful of those around her. Besides her husband and little daughter, she leaves her mother, grandmother, two sisters, five brothers and a host of friends who knew her only to love her.
