A resident of Lettsworth, she died Thursday, Aug. 9, 1012, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 75 and a native of Jacoby. Visiting at Zion Travelers Baptist Church, Lettsworth, on Friday, Aug. 17, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Religious service at St. Mary Baptist Church, Lettsworth, on Saturday, Aug. 18, at noon, conducted by the Rev. Lee Gage. Interment in Zion Travelers Baptist Church Cemetery. Survived by five children, Ann Robinson and husband James, Thelma Jones, Robert Stewart and wife Dikeisha, Beverly Wilson and husband Floyd, Mary Gremillion and husband Mack Daniel Sr.; two sisters, Ruthie Mae Smith, Donna Tucker and husband Ray; brother, Willie Wheeler and wife Edna; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including nephew Gregory Wheeler and wife Stephanie. Professional services entrusted to A. Wesley Funeral Home of Maringouin.
