Leo Edward Hall, age 87, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2004 at Riverside Hospital. Preceded in death by parents, Sylvester Leo and Marjorie Hall. Survived by wife, Marty Hall; son, James Leo of Braintree, VT; daughters, Linda of San Diego, CA and Marty Anne of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Laura, Christina, Gregg, Grant and Claire; great-grandchildren, Juliana and John, all of San Diego; sister, Margery Witherspoon; 5 nieces. Leo was an alumnus of St. Charles Preparatory School, the University of Notre Dame and served four years at sea in World War II, Lt. Commander in the U.S. Navy. Spent entire civilian life with the Smith Bros. Hardware Co., the last two years as president until he sold it in 1981. Founded and served as president of Hall Investment Co. until his recent illness. Member for many years of Columbus Country Club, the Columbus Club and the Athletic Club of Columbus. Friends may call Wednesday 7-9 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E. Broad St. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10 a.m. at St. Catharine Church, 500 S. Gould Rd., Bexley. Private interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery
