Caleb Thompson, 21, of Sweetwater, passed away at his home on August 3, 2016.Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Reverend Paul Matta. A graveside service and burial will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. in Albany Cemetery in Albany, Texas.Caleb was born on September 8, 1994 in Abilene, Texas. He was a life long resident of Sweetwater and Roscoe. Caleb graduated from Sweetwater High School in 2014 and was a Christian.Survivors include: Parents- Wayne and Diedra Thompson of Sweetwater, TX; Sister- Dugan Thompson of Crane, TX; 2 Brothers- Kevin Thompson of Norman, OK, J.R. Sanders and wife, Stephanie, of Huntsville, TX; 2 Nieces- Chloe Sanders of Huntsville, TX, Makenzie Whiddon of Crane, TX; Nephew- Carson Sanders of Huntsville, TX; and Uncle- Doug Newcomb of Albany, TX.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin Thompson, Betty Larned, and Douglas and Doris Newcomb.Pallbearers will be Ricky Thompson, Jeramy Thompson, Joe Allen and Tucker Mullican.The family will receive friends at McCoy Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Deaf-Blind Multihandicapped Association of Texas at their website: www.dbmat-tx.org.
