Mrs. Lingo was a homemaker and of the Weslyan Methodist faith.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2004, in the chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Williams officiating.
Interment was at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta.
The family received visitors at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2004.
Survivors include her husband, William Thompson Lingo of Smyrna; a daughter, Betty Anne Sinnott of Marietta; a son, William D. Lingo of Birmingham; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1925 Century Blvd., Ste. 10, Atlanta, GA 30345.
