John Shields Frazer, Jr.
Born August 15, 1951, of Morristown, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, August 1, 2016.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Morristown. John was a lifetime educator and avid sports fan, especially of the University of Tennessee and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
John attended Tennessee Wesleyan University, where he received his Bachelor's egree in English; and Tusculum College, obtaining his Master's egree in Education.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Rev. John S. Fraizer, Sr. and Jane Johnson Frazier; brother: Joel Frazier, and family friends Love and Mae Anderson.
John is survived by his wife of 41 years, Susan Frady Frazier; daughter and son-in-law: Andrea and Josh Heaton; granddaughter: Isabella Heaton; brother and sister-in-law: Blake and Shelby Jean Henard, sister-in-law: Sherry Hill Frazier, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 PM on Friday, August 5, 2016 at First United Methodist Church, Morristown with the funeral service to follow with Rev. Dr. Charles Starkes officiating. His final resting place will be in the Memorial Gardens on the church grounds.
