Searching for my 14th generation ancestor by Marriage: Margaret Prime PLANTAGENET. About:1445-1472. Her maiden name was PLANTAGENET. Her married Name: Prime. Parents in question supposedly Edward 1V and her mother was Elizabeth Wydeville Plantagenet (born grey though she married twice and her first husband surname was Grey.) Margarets husband was John Prime: Born 1440-1489. Thriplow cammbridge England John had two degrees from Oxford University. surname spelling variations: Prime Pryme Prym) where's her parents? No verified info! Arrgh! Is she a disinherited illegitamate daughter I wonder from the medieval house of Plantagenets? Margaret Plantagenet was born around 1454 and died in 1472. The plot thickens as there are 3 Margaret plantagenets born in the same period. One died just a few months old. The other 1472-1472 died at birth/stillborn? 1 which i thought was my Margaret lived but the birth and death dates don't match! So, this Margaret Plantagenet is still a mysterious enigma. She's supposedly related to the royal house of plantagenets. Her father: Edward 1V & her mother was Elizabeth Wydeville Plantagenet though Elizabeth married twice (so was at some point with the married name Grey.) However Margarets parents are not mentioned nor is she mentioned in the history books or history as being their daughter. Though there are several family trees on My heritage & family search who have Margaret in their family line! And there are several coats of arms! Margaret had two children: Thomas and John Pryme though one died at birth. She was only around 18 or 19 when she died. Did she die in suspicious circumstances? Who were her parents? Please,if anyone can help please do so if you can. Thanks.English Royalty. Born at Winchester Castle, Winchester, Hampshire, the daughter of Edward IV, King of England and Elizabeth Woodville. She died at eight months and was buried at Westminster Abbey.
