Patsy "Pat" Howard, 70 of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born February 19, 1946, in Clearspring, Indiana, the daughter of the late James and Alma (McNabb) Ledbetter.
She married Larry Howard on July 21, 1967, in Seymour, Indiana, and he survives.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Seymour. She loved canning and gardening. She loved writing stories - she was great with words. She was a wonderful wife and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, their children, Rhonda Sharp, Tony (Sharon) Howard and Nicole (Jeff) Lewis; seven grandchildren: Dakota Lerza, Taylor Bode, Olivia Brewer, Kylie Lewis, Conner Howard, Madelynn Lewis and Jacob Lewis; two great-grandchildren, Tatum Smith and Avett Lerza; two brothers, Danny and Ted Ledbetter, and two sisters, Dorothy Greene and Joyce Shutters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her granddaughter, Destiny Skye Howard and a sister, Betty Dailey.
Funeral service will be held at Voss Chapel on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. with Elder Kevin Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends and family may gather at Voss Chapel on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday after 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
