Chuck passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 in Des Moines, at the age of 64.
He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School, Fort Dodge, IA. in 1968. After high school, he attended junior college in Ft. Dodge before working for an insurance company in Des Moines, IA.
He married Joyce Wetherly of Indianola, IA. After Joyce’s death, Chuck married Sally Aylward of Memphis, MO., on April 5, 2003. He was a member of Christian Life Assembly in Des Moines.
Chuck is survived by his mother, June D. Yates of Ft. Dodge; his beloved wife, Sally of Des Moines; his sister, Mary and her husband, Gary L. Bowman, of Aledo, TX.; brother in-law, Ram Gulati of Mill Valley, CA.; three nephews, Curtis N. Bowman of Ft. Dodge, Rampi Gulati, of Newport Beach, CA. and Pavi Gulati and wife, Olga of Bogota, Columbia; one great-niece, Juno Gulati of Bogota, Columbia; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glen; his first wife, Joyce; sister, Irene Gulati and nephew, Brian L. Bowman.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Christian Life Assembly of God Church, 9001 Fleur Drive in Des Moines. Family will greet visitors an hour prior to the service at the church. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.
