Beverly was born Mary 23, 1932 to C.A. and Mildred Taylor. She grew up and attended school in the Vinita, Oklahoma area, and graduated from Vinita High School in 1950. [From Vinita High School yearbooks, she participated in Student Council, band, cheerleading and F.H.A.] She also attended NEO [Northeastern A&M College] in Miami, Oklahoma.
On March 14, 1952 she married David Sippy. Beverly and David made their home together in Germany as David served in the Army. They also lived in Cabool, Missouri, and Sapulpa, Oklahoma before moving to Monett, Missouri in 1967.
Beverly was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and she always made sure that other's needs were met before her own. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Monett. She loved working as the Monett Elementary School secretary for many years, and often spoke of her many friends she made along the way. Upon her retirement, she volunteered her time working with Meals on Wheels and with the local hospital's auxiliary, still keeping the needs of others foremost.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her daughter-in-law, Mary A. Sippy. She is survived by two sons, Mark Sippy of Gainesville, Georgia and Greg Sippy and his wife, Mary Kay (Hobbs) Sippy, of Ramona, Oklahoma.
