Mrs. Margaret Salmon, aged 84, a former well known resident of the borough, died last night at 9:45 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Etta Smith, at Niagara Falls N. Y. The deceased was born at Milford, Delaware County, Pa., and for a number of years resided in Kingston.
She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Frank W. Shapelle, of North Dorrance street, and Frank Salmon, of Rutter avenue; Mrs. Anna Williams and Mrs. Etta Smith, of Niagara Falls; Clyde and Elmer Salmon, of Wilkes-Barre.
The body will be shipped here and taken to the home of Mr. Frank Shapelle, 42 North Dorrance street, from where the funeral will he held on Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Interment will be at Freeland.
