McMAHAN Charles L. McMahan was born October 6, 1924 in Townsend, TN. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He resided in Jacksonville, Fl. and worked at NARF JAX for 34 years, retiring in 1979, as the superintendent of the Methods and Standards Division.

He was predeceased by two brothers, three sisters and his wife of 67 years, Kathleen who died in 2012.

He is survived by his son Donald, his daughter Kathy Tracey (Michael) of Florence, AZ., six grandchildren, Heather Meade, Sgt. Robert McMahan, Michael and Christopher Tracey, Scott Thompson and Ashley McMahan. He also has four great-grandchildren at Fort Stewart, GA., Friendship Sunday school class and super seniors.

Masonic membership includes Albert J. Russell Lodge, Scottish Rite and Morocco Temple. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church. Visitation is on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 5 until 7 PM at the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel located @ 6920 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, Fl., 32211. 904-724-6384.
