Elaine Mashburn 81 of Maroa, passed away 11:20 A.M. August 2, 2016 at Heartland Health, Decatur.
Elaine was born March 27, 1935 in Decatur, the daughter of Raymond and Gertrude (Pressen)McKee. She married Grover C. “Junior” Mashburn on April 25, 1953 at the Maroa Christian Church, Maroa, Illinois. He passed away on June 22, 1995.
Survivors include her children, Diana (Stephen) Kinkaid and Robert “Butch” (Bobbi) Mashburn; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and niece, Patricia (David) Fombelle.
Elaine was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Virginia Buckley and Charlotte Franklin.
Elaine served as the City Clerk for many years in Maroa, and she was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed gardening and loved to spend time with her family.
