Possibly the grandson of Benjamin Clemons, (born Oct 13, 1792. Lee County, VA- May 19, 1862 in Breathitt), and Mary Polly Fugate (abt. 1810 in VA-before 1843 near Carter County, KY.) Benjamin Clemons died in 1864. Research still in progress.
