Eddy Ray Rigsbay was born May 1, 1955 in Sherman, Texas to Van Rigsbay and Dora Moore Rigsbay. He died Monday, August 1, 2016 at his residence in Whitemound, Texas at the age of 61.

Eddy was self-employed as a welder. He was a friend to everyone. He never met a stranger. He had lots of friends and was loved by everyone who knew him. Eddy would help anybody who was in need. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by sisters, Dorothy Lambert and husband Brad of Howe, Rosa Ham and husband Bobby of Tom Bean, and Betty Rodgers of Sherman; brother, David Langford of Denison; adopted brother and caregiver, Anthony West of Whitemound; sisters-in-law, Flo Rigsbay of Cooper, and Louise Langford of Dallas; children and grandchildren of Love; Monty and Donna Montgomery of Whitemound, and grandchildren, James, Justin, Macey and Little Monty and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tommy Rigsbay, and Charles Langford; sister-in-law, Evelyn Langford; and brother-in-law, Don Rodgers.

Graveside Services will be held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Whitemound Cemetery, Whitemound, Texas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Duane Peters.

Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Tuesday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 6-8pm at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Whitewright, Texas.
