When Mitch was ten years old, his first job was working at a resturant washing dishes. After graduating High school he started his career woking for the telephone company, after 35 years he retired as a supervisor and went on to work for 3M for the next 5 years. He then became a builiding inspector for many years before finally retiring for good. Mitchell met the love of his life and on Dec. 31, 1959, he was married to Dollie Reynolds.
Mitch loved fishing, traveling any where he could, driving long distances, gardening, his beloved dog Muffin and most of all he loved his children and grandchildren.
Mitch is survived by his Loving wife of 56 years Dollie Hill, children Randall Hill of Elko, NV; John Hill of Chico, CA; and Kellee Carpenter of Carson City, NV; Grandchildren Teresa Hill, Randall Hill II, Cody Carpenter and Michai Carpenter. He was predeceased by his son Ronald Hill.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 2:30 p.m. at Newton-Bracewell Chico Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at Chico Cemetery.
