CATAWBA Pamela "Pam" Joyce Carpenter Ervin, 67, of Catawba, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 23, 1948, in Catawba County to the late Mack and Mildred Carpenter.
Pam was retired from the hosiery industry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Ervin; and brothers, Ronnie and Jerry Carpenter.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Chris Ervin of Catawba; sister, Judy Boggs and husband, Bobby of Catawba; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Pam's life will be held Friday, Aug. 5, at 2 p.m., at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church in Catawba. The Rev. Greg Alms will officiate. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Friday, Aug. 5, from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m., at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church. Those serving as pallbearers will be Steve Beal, Josh Stout, Billy Gillman, Ashley Carpenter, Bud Inman and Bobby Boggs.
