Joyce Capello Tridico, 89, a native of Donaldsonville and resident of Gonzales, passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 at St. James Place.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her four children: Dwayne, Harold, Jr., and Wanza Tridico, Tammy and husband Carl Fernandez. 10 grandchildren: Jane Sholmire, Melissa and Steven Faucheaux, Catherine and Anthony Hudson, David Tridico, Marie Karem, Joseph and Angela Tridico, Jessica and Mathew Coffee, Lindsey and Michael Harvey, Carla and Stephen Oberhofer, Beth and Kristopher Ruebsamen; 17 great-grandchildren: Logan Sholmire, Evan and Ava Faucheaux, Nina and Charlie Hudson, Jacob, Nolan and Hadley Karem, Lillian Tridico, Anna and Aubree Coffee, Addison and London Harvey, Stevie and Hallie Oberhofer, Anna Kate and Mason Ruebsamen.
Preceded in death by her husband Harold Tridico, Sr., her parents, Joseph Capello, Sr. and Lillie Capello Cain, 4 brothers: Joseph, Jr., James, Arthur and Howard Capello. 7 sisters: Delma Hughes, Ethel Caballero, Aline Hebert, Beulah Milam, Gertrude Simoneaux, Addie Dyer and Lucille Gassert.
Joyce retired with over 25 years of Service with the State of Louisiana.
Visitation at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville on Friday, August 5, from 9:00 a.m. until mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow in Ascension of Our Lord Mausoleum.
