Helen was born on August 28, 1937 in Hoopeston, Illinois, the daughter of John and Stella (Oberland) Baker, Sr. She married Virgil “Pete” Williams on July 12, 1954 and he preceded her in death on October 21, 1978. She later married Carlos Castillo on December 5, 1981 and he preceded her in death on August 17, 2004.
Survivors include two sons; Richard (Julie) Williams and Terry Williams; three daughters, Rose Williams, Melinda Sandlin and Melissa Leclaire; one brother, Johnny (Mary) Baker;nine9 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Virgil “Pete” Williams and Bruce Williams; two sisters, Barbara Winters and Betty Schwartz and one granddaughter, Carmen Espinoza.
Helen was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses and enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, and traveling.
