Mr. Cornelius Lynch, a lifelong resident of Watervliet, died at the residence of his sister, Mrs. John Preston at 1873 Ninth Avenue. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and belonged to the Holy Name Society. Mr. Lynch was a bricklayer and a member of the Bricklayers’ Union of Troy. He was also a member of the Watervliet Chamber of Commerce. Survivors are his wife, a brother, Michael Lynch of Geneva, and a sister, Mrs. John Preston.

The funeral of Cornelius Lynch was held Mar. 24th from the residence of his sister, Mrs. John Preston, and from St. Patrick’s Church. Rev. John T. Cox officiated. The funeral was largely attended, and members of the Holy Name Society of St. Patrick’s Church attended in a body.
