Patricia Louise Brant at the age 87 of Owosso passed away Saturday July 30, 2016 at Memorial Healthcare.
Pat was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was dedicated to her family and her faith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 am Wednesday August 3, 2016 at St. Paul Catholic Church with Father Michael O’Brien officiating. Family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home onTuesday August 2, 2016 from 2 pm to 8 pm with rosary being prayed at 7 pm.
Pat was born July 26, 1929 in Detroit, the daughter of Leston B. and Margaret (Delaney) Miner.
She graduated from St. Paul Catholic School, Class of 1948 and was member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Pat also was involved in the Altar Society, the St. Jude Guild and the Metropolitan Club.
Pat married Russell Lee Smith in 1951; he passed away in 1954. She then married Ralph Brant in 1957; he predeceased her in 1986.
She was employed at Old Kent Bank where she worked for fifteen years.
Those left to cherish her love and memories are, sons Gregory “Skip” (Millicent) Brant of Florida and Jim (Lisa) Brant of Owosso; daughter Tammie (Brian) Springsdorf of Owosso; seven grandchildren Dr. Ashley Brant (Michael Ferszt), Trevor, Brant, Taylor “TJ”, Delaney, Dominic and Frankie; two great-grandchildren Troy Brant and Keaton Ferszt; many loving family and friends and special friend Maria Hegg.
She was predeceased by her husbands; daughter Leigh Jean; parents and dear friend Mary Jo Maginity.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Paul Catholic School Education Fund or the St. Francis Retreat.
