Bessie Irene Hudson, 90, Greenfield, MO, formerly of Nevada, died Wednesday, November 17, 2004, at the Dade County Nursing Home, Greenfield, MO, following a lengthy illness. She was born August 18, 1914, in Boone County, MO, to David Thomas Sewell and Maude E. Duty Sewell. She married Noah Alexander Hudson on December 23, 1933, in Boone County, MO. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1994.
Mrs. Hudson was born and raised in mid Missouri and spent the first 20 years of her married life there. She moved to Vernon County in 1954 and resided here until 1996 when she moved to Greenfield, MO. She was a member of the Church of God Holiness, Deerfield, MO. She worked for a number of years for Gragg Brothers Greenhouse in Nevada, but was primarily a homemaker and care-giver. She was of a musical and artistic nature.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Alexander Hudson, Chesapeake, OH, and Laddie Hudson, Springfield, MO; one daughter, Priscilla Myers, Greenfield, MO, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by three sons, David Joe, Fred Fay, and Ned Ray.
