Iris was a member at Tabernacle of Deliverance and Praise in Anderson, SC. She was employed at Schneider Electric for several years. She was a graduate of Pendleton High School and Tri County Technical College, where she received her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice.
Iris is survived by her father, Hurley B. Gordon of Canton, Ga.; siblings : Bridget Sanders of Central , SC, Pierre Sanders of Pendleton,SC, Sonia (Tony)Davis, Barbara Galloway, Tawanna Galloway, Antwan Greenlee of Anderson, SC , Amanda Gordon of Canton, Ga., Johnny Hill of Winston- Salem, NC and Patrick Arnold of Pickens, SC; ten nieces, seven nephews; two god-daughters; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Iris was predeceased along with her parents; John and Dorothy Dukes; maternal grandparents, Dock and Gladys Sanders; paternal grandparents, Wally and Estella Gordon; two uncles, Ramon Sanders and Dock Sanders.
