George was born on December 16, 1936 in Alma, where he was a lifelong resident. He worked for and retired from Masonic Pathways in Alma. He loved bowling and received many awards including a trophy for “Bowler of the Year-- 2011”.
Through the years he made many friends. George’s soft, gentle spirit will be missed by many. A special “Thank You” is sent to Dr. Rakesh Saxena, Lakshmi Ganugpenta, N. P. and to all of his friends that he recently made at Schnepps Senior Care and Great Lakes Caring. Preceding George in death were his parents and his two brothers. George is survived by his guardian and longtime friend, Mary Hitsman of St. Louis.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16.
Arrangements are being handled by the Dewey Funeral Home of Alma.
