ELKHART – Jennie L. Clark 89, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Thursday July 28, 2016. Left to cherish her memory are sons: Odis Clark of Cassopolis, MI, Kenny Clark of Elkhart, a daughter, Karen Young of Elkhart. She will also be missed by her 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son: William “Lynn” Clark, first husband, Elzy Clark, second husband, James Clark, and her parents, Virgie & William Lovell, and 10 brothers and sisters, to which she was the last living sibling. In her 89 years of life, Jennie enjoyed playing Bingo on Friday nights, sitting on the swing in her front yard while chatting with visitors, spending time with family, but most of all spoiling her grandchildren. She proudly carried the title of Grandma Sassy and was known by many for her warm hugs, genuine love, and her delicious French toast. She touched the heart and soul of everyone that met her.
