Myrtle's parents divorced and their children were split up. Daisy, being the youngest, stayed with her mother and at age 17, she married Ambrose D. Parker, Jan. 27, 1904, at Portsmouth, Virginia. They divorced and Myrtle married second to Edward L. Dunne. They made their home in Philadelphia.

Myrtle's mother had remarried to Richard Pickett and settled in Philadelphia where she raised a second family. Myrtle's mother, Virginia, lived with Myrtle and Edward during her last years. Edward died in 1938.

Myrtle moved to New Jersey and in 1960 was living in Atlantic City and working at a hotel along the boardwalk. Her last residence is listed as Cape May Court House, Cape May County, New Jersey.
