Funeral services for Mr. Leo W. Crader, 72, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jay Alexius officiating.

Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. unitl 10:00 p.m. Monday, with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m.

Mr. Crader died at 6:00 a.m. Sunday, July 31, 2016 in his residence. Mr. Crader is a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. He loved spoiling his grandchildren, and raising chickens and cattle. He was a “jack of all trades and a master of them all”.

He is survived by his daughter Joycelyn Trahan and husband Oren of Lake Arthur; one son, Albert Lee Crader and wife Dawn of Jennings ; sister, Dorothy Guidry and husband Melvin of Lake Charles; brother, Charles Crader and wife Joan of Jennings; grandchildren, Amber, Harley and Eddie Trahan and Noah Crader and his special friend/son, Jonathan “Choe” Gary of Lake Arthur.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Emilien Jack and Edna Ortego Crader; his wife, Barbara Martin Crader; sister, Marie Allemand and brothers, Lee Allen “Noonie Crader and Alfred Pete Crader.

Pallbearers will be Louis Martin, Troy LeBleu, Chance LeBlanc, Jackie Crader, Larkie Broussard and Mark Crader. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan “Choe” Gary, Eddie Trahan and Noah Crader.
