Mrs. John S. Youse, 60, of 291 Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, died on Tuesday afternoon in Reading Hospital, West Reading. Born in this city, she was the former Dorothy S. Siegel, daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Haueisen Siegel, and was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran parish, Pine Grove. She was graduated from Hazleton High School and the Lankenau Hospital School of Nursing, Philadelphia.
Surviving are her husband, the Rev. John S. Youse, pastor emeritus of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Carolann) Lengel, Pine Grove R.D. 3; a brother, William Siegel, Pine Grove; and two sisters, Mrs. Martha Smith, this city; and Mrs. Mary Tyson, Pine Grove R.D. 2.
The funeral will be held from St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove, at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Fred I. Fisher officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Snyder Funeral Home, Pine Grove, from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
