Marie Stevens, age 88, of Hastings, passed away peacefully July 27, 2016, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was a true Elvis fan; loved bowling and playing the slots were her favorites at Foxwood's in Connecticut with members of the American Legion Auxiliary where she served as president for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her first husband of 23 years, Arthur Usina, her second husband of 43 years, Thomas Stevens, her daughters; Brenda Usina Strickland and Kathy Usina; her grandson: Ryan Stratton.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She is survived by, daughter: Donna Ash, Hastings; sons: Roy Usina (Judy), St. Augustine, Ray Usina (Barbara), Clarksville, Tennessee, Tommy Usina (Mari) Palm Coast, and Ronnie Usina, Hastings; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters: Ruth Easter and Eunice Johnson; brother; Clinton Smith, all of Mount Airy, North Carolina.
Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Monday at Craig Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pellicer Creek Cemetery.
