Gregory Allen Bailey, 64, of Walker, passed away July 31, 2016 at the Camden Clark Medical Center following a short illness and stroke.

He was born in Welch, WV, November 16, 1951 the son of Lydia "Bess" Day Bailey of Mineral Wells and the late Halsey Bailey.

Greg had worked for CSX Railroad for fourteen years. He enjoyed music and was a guitarist and singer with several country and rock bands in the area. He attended Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, Greg is survived by his wife Violet Faye Cantwell Bailey, son Zachary Bailey (Angel), daughter Connie Ann Donaway (Thomas), grandchildren Blake West, Shawna Trout, Robert Trout, Jr., Taylor Bailey, Chase Bailey and Isabella Hornschemeier.

In addition to his father, Greg was preceded in death by his brother Stephen Bailey, sister Shirley McColpin and an infant brother,

The funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will be at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
