Obituary from The Daily Herald (Provo, Utah) June 5, 1972:

Edgar Dowain Park, 81, died at his home Saturday of natural causes.

He was born December 7, 1890 at Nephi to James Reuben and Clara Passey Park. He married Ireta Harper on October 3, 1916 at Provo. The marriage later was solemnized in the Manti Temple. Mrs. Park died on April 15, 1970.

Mr. Park was a retired barber and farmer and a government trapper for several years. He also was a former Nephi City police officer, a member of the volunteer fire department for a number of years and a former employee of the State Fish and Game Department.

He is survived by two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Miles A. (Maxine) Anderson and Mrs. Dee (Florence) Kendall, both of Nephi; Marvin D. Park, of San Carlos, Ariz.; Lyle H. Park, Spanish Fork; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, one brother, Stanzius Park, Nephi, and one sister, Mrs. Geneva Gibson of Pleasant Grove.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Juab Stake Center. Burial will be in Vine Bluff Cemetery.
