Christopher W. McKee Jr., 16, of Catlin, passed away at on Tuesday, May 11, 2004, from injuries received in an automobile accident north of Catlin.
Chris was born April 2, 1988, in Toledo, Ohio, to Christopher W. McKee Sr. and Nancy Teska.
Chris was a sophomore at Catlin High School and a stocker at Meijer in Champaign. He enjoyed welding and working on a goat farm. He loved animals. Chris was to receive the Presidential Academic Achievement Award for most improved grade point average. He dearly loved animals and his goal was to become a veterinarian.
His epitaph reads, "Precious Lord, take my hand."
