Patty S. White, 95, of Indian Creek, WV passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Welch Community Hospital, Welch, WV. She was born on May 1, 1921 in McDowell County, WV a daughter of the late Joshua "Josh" Arnold (1872-1965) and Lilly "Margaret" Mitchell-Arnold (1885-1978).
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Joshua "Josh" White (1912-1982); a son, Harold Eugene White (1949-2001); a stepdaughter, Aileen (Deceased); two stepsons, Clyde Arnold (Deceased) and Leon Arnold (Deceased); five sisters, Ethel Arnold (1917-2002), Carma Arnold (Deceased), Clara Arnold (Deceased), Martha Arnold (1932-2004) and Rosa "Rosie" Arnold (1935-2940); and three brothers, Ellis Arnold (Deceased), Henry Arnold (1931-1950) and George Arnold (Deceased).
Survivors include two sisters, Climmie A. Arnold-Vance and Lettie Arnold both of Indian Creek; several nieces, nephews and a host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 30, 2016 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV. She will be laid to rest in Kiser Cemetery, Buchanan County, VA.
